The Harps were a punk rock cover band. For many months, they did not have a name. Finally, they decided to name themselves The Harps, after the legendary Jerry Harp. They covered songs by Stiff Little Fingers, UK Subs, Circle Jerks, Dead Silence, Dayglo Abortions, TSOL, GBH, Angry Samoans, Social Distortion, Eighth Route Army, and the Vandals. They played a handful of shows. The band ended when several members moved out of town.
